Thanks to the generosity of
DSU graduates Jerome and Rosie Strom, the Strom Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation is home to a number of initiatives to promote economic development and stem out migration through the support of entrepreneurial business ventures and individuals.

| Steve Glasser, Executive Director of The Strom Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation |
 Dickinson State University hired Steve Glasser as the executive director of the Strom Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Glasser started at the Strom Center on January 16, 2009.
Glasser joined DSU as the director of enrollment services in February 2006. Before coming to DSU, he was employed by the Dickinson Catholic School System for 20 years, the last five of which he served as the director of development. Glasser is a native of Mott, North Dakota.
"I am excited for the opportunity to take over leadership of the Strom Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. I believe that there is unlimited potential for the Strom Center to make a meaningful contribution to the community, region and state" Glasser said.

| Strom Center Mission |
The Strom Center’s mission focuses on revitalizing the state’s economy by encouraging and supporting entrepreneurs and fostering an entrepreneurial spirit. The center actively promotes regional partnership development and offers entrepreneurs a network of professionals who can provide support and assistance in the areas of applied research, business consulting, technology and marketing resources.
The Institute of Technology housed in the Strom Center gained state Center of Excellence status through Governor John Hoeven’s initiative in 2006. The center also houses the Small Business Development Center and has formed numerous partnerships within the community and region.
