The Hartfiel Inn Bed & Breakfast was originally built in 1908 by Judge Pugh and was purchased by Ward and Peg Johnson in 1935. The west wing (kitchen and master bedroom) was added on to the home in 1946. Rick and Quita Hartfiel are the third owners; they purchased the home in December of 1994. The Hartfiels have since renovated with the utmost care taken to keep the house in its original state while adding modern conveniences. The decorating of the Hartfiel Inn was inspired by the Hartfiel's travel to Europe. Every room holds many cultural surprises.
The Hartfiel Inn is open all year, 7 days a week. Full breakfast, served from a menu, is included in room rate. The Hartfiel Inn features a relaxing, private yard with waterfall and pond, off-street parking with winter plug-ins, spa includes hot tub & sauna open to guests until 9:00 PM. All rooms have private baths, private phones, cable television, flat screen TV, DVD player, VCR, free movies, wireless internet. A jewelry shop is also available.
